Charents Arch and Garni Temple
Our private journey begins with a stop at Charents Arch — the best point to capture the panorama of the Ararat Valley. Then, we will head to the Garni Temple (1st century AD) — a masterpiece of Hellenistic architecture and the only preserved pagan temple in the country. We will thoroughly explore its history and the Roman baths with mosaics.)
Symphony of Stones and Cave Geghard
We will descend into the Azat River Gorge to see the unique natural monument, the “Symphony of Stones”. Giant basalt columns create a breathtaking view. Our guide will tell you about the volcanic origin of these natural wonders. After this, we will head to Geghard Monastery (UNESCO), partially carved into the rock, where we will dive into the mystical atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
Culinary Masterclass: Lavash Traditions
The culmination will be an interactive lavash baking masterclass (UNESCO Heritage). You will have the opportunity to participate hands-on in rolling the dough and baking it in a traditional tonir. After the masterclass, you will enjoy a tasting of fresh, hot lavash with local cheeses and herbs.
