Sevanavank: Monastery on the Blue Lake
You will explore one of Armenia’s most famous monasteries, a magnificent monument of medieval architecture, located on a picturesque peninsula. You will look into its ancient churches, find the All-Savior Khachkar, and admire Sevan from the high bank—from here, it seems as if the sea is before you.
Noratus: Field of Medieval Khachkars
We will see the khachkar field in Noratus — one of the most impressive places in Armenia. About a thousand Armenian khachkars are erected on seven hectares of the necropolis. The earliest dates back to the 9th century, but most are from the 13th–14th centuries. Our private guide will tell you the history of these cross-stones, explain their symbolism, and show you the most unique samples.
Hayravank: Tranquil Haven of Sevan
And finally, you will enjoy the tranquility at the small Hayravank Monastery from the 9th century. It is located on a rocky hill surrounded by picturesque nature. Within the private tour, you will have enough time to appreciate its interesting architecture and hear the many legends associated with it.
